what lands in Vegas stays in Vegas

Category travel
My routine for returning from Reno is fairly well established by now: leave Reno at 2 PM, land at 3:15, wander McCarran aimlessly for 2 hours, board another plane at 5:30, land at 1 AM, arrive at home circa 1:30. Slight hiccup this time: something broke on the plane they were supposed to send here from Burbank, so my 2 hour layover is now 4 hours... with an arrival time of 3 AM. Aren't time zones grand?

Gravatar Image1 - With 4 hours, you could get out of the airport for a while. As you know, there are no good food options there. And this dry heat aint nothin' compared to the humidity down South Emoticon

Gravatar Image2 - @Dan, this is true... 106 in Vegas is more comfortable than 86 in the Triangle. I was tempted to wander over to In-N-Out for a burger and shake, but for some reason I'm not hungry at all tonight.

Gravatar Image3 - @Charles, I haven't been skiing in 6 years, but I miss it. When I go to Reno, I'm typically there for 2 weeks at a time, so we should definitely get our ski on if we happen to be out there the same weekend.

Gravatar Image4 - I didn't know you had ties to Reno. We have a timeshare in Tahoe that we go to every year to go skiing. Maybe we could meet up and you could kick my ass in downhill as badly as you do in coding. Emoticon
